Service Description

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is produced by the patient's own blood. It is a concentration of platelets and growth factors that can be added to an area of injury in order to help in the healing process. It may reduce infection rates, hospital stay length, and patient discomfort postoperatively. Please contact us to discuss how your patients can benefit from PRP. Citation: Lacking KM, Dardik A. Platelet-rich plasma: support for its use in wound healing. Yale J Biol Med. 2010;83(1):1-9. Bone Marrow Aspirate (BMA) creates a stem cell concentrate from harvesting the patient’s bone marrow. This is then injected into the area needing regeneration to help facilitate the healing process.
